Inspired by a hilarious clip about the extortionate and disastrous new Edinburgh trams system, posted over at NMJs blog, I came across this clip on Utube. Enjoy, especially Edinburghers who may be reading this.

Nick: "unt it iz ze patriotik duti ov ol Edinburgs to piz not on ze bonfir ov ze city fathrs, vor zey hav a vundrus wision ov 20th zentury tranzport."
Nick, I thought it was hilarious too and so very apt, from the slightly poor visual quality to the military music in the background to the spot on Eastern Euro accent.
NMJ: They are both very well done.
MumPlusTwo: Yes, that was very funny, along with the organised shoplifting and the second largest roundabout in Scotland and the Gothic Sports Stadium used for sporting events up to 3 times a year.

Oh come on, you are being unfair - the trams will be great! All those people who want to go from.....the Scottish Executive headquarters to the RBS headquarters will be well happy!

I loved it. Speaking as one who lives in a City with trams that occasionally run when they are supposed to and cost a fortune. We also have a tram station at Eastlands Stadium built in 2002, but no tram line running to it, so no trams! Mad!
