Dwam mode
Monday, 4 May 2009
I have been in a bit of a dwam the last couple of days. As I looked at Bobo and the boys over a steak baguette lunch, it dawned on me that they were similarly attired to yesterday. Upon further enquiry and delighted giggles, it transpired that all three had worn the same tshirts all day yesterday, all night and all day today. There was an air of delighted conspiring as they took it in turns to own up. Then YS took it one step further, "sometimes I keep all of my clothes on from one day to the next." Bobo replied, "well, that's just pooey," and they all began tittering again. Did I miss something?

Unless they did it as a conspiracy to make you think it was Groundhog Day, I'm missing what's so weird about people wearing the same clothes. Underpants changed daily though.
YS is being a good environmentalist and economist.

My sons still don't understand why I roll my eyes at them when they finally, under duress, take a shower. And then put back on the clothes they have been wearing for the past 3 days.

GVH: That would be YS's argument too.
Loth: Seems I am in good company.
WWW: I can't wait til they start drinking real alcohol. That should up the pace a bit.
Amanda: It is, hence my amazement.
Suburbia: They are adorable.

You should be so lucky. Younger Son (mine) wears a t-shirt half a day then puts it to be washed. Ditto trousers and hoodies. It's me saying to him, 'You could wear that a bit longer!'
